Shane's drawing foundation final project :D
made entirely out of magazine cutouts,freaking tedious :O
had to search through all the magazines and group the pictures according to their colours,
and after which having to select and cut out shapes to fit the image!
helped him out abit as this was simply too much work for one to handle
the process was quite fun though,
kinda like piecing a puzzle together :D

so hard to get him to smile hahahahah :p

and he complaint that i never draw anything nice for him,
haha so here goes! :p

3D Assignment: Bag Design

This is the bag that i designed and made for Juu for my 3D assignment!
it had to be made from scratch
thus Juu brought me to Chinatown to look for materials
and introduced to me the fabric shops that she always patron
she also demonstrated how to use the sewing machine
and techniques of sewing!
learnt alot from her!! :D

Made using craft foam and cloth
had to hand sew the foam as it was too thick and it tears when under too much pressure
quite frustrating yet so satisfying! :D

i love it!!! its custom made just to fit my house key, wallet and iphone heehee

was bored last night thus i went to play Draw Something on my iphone
the word that had to draw was "Adele"
since im such a huge fan of hers,
i told myself that i must do a good job in drawing her!
woke up the next morning,
so surprised to see the overwhelming response on my facebook!!
feels awesome when people appreciates your effort :')

Monday! 12march2012

Figure painting for foundation drawing class today was fun!
i attempted a more expressive style
using watercolour,hahaha it was really therapeutic
de-stress!!
managed to complete two paintings :D

will he be there?

Feeling pretty down today...
dad hasn't been feeling well lately,
his gastric pain is getting worse and more frequent
and theres nothing much i can do to help him..
then a thought came to my mind
what if something bad happens to him
will he be there for my graduation?
will he be there when i recieve my first pay?
will he be there at my wedding?
will he be there when i have my first child?
will he be there to cook for them the way he did for me?
will he be there when they learn to talk?
will he be there to bring them to the zoo,like how he always brought me?

My 22nd birthday is just a few days away
and my biggest wish and only wish
is that he'd be there for my many birthdays to come
and i know he will be there
cause im his favourite child
and he knows i love him too

met up with Jun Hao to go swimming!

after which we went to Tampines for a walk!

revisited Toys"R"Us and we both agreed how lucky kids are nowadays

the huge array of toys for them to play with

we decided to have a little fun of our own too! :D

i think the wolverine mask suites him very well,don't you think so too? ;D

I then made my way to IKOI at Miramar Hotel
to have Japanese buffet with Shane and Juu!
love the cosy atmosphere,heehee
and thankfully for us we had quite good seats :D

was camwhoring while waiting for them to arrive hahahaha

time to dig in :D

we were eating edamame (peas) and our peas kept flying out at Juu
hahahaha it was hilarious!!!
oh and these were some of the dishes we ordered!
the food was so yummy!!
and the sashimi was very fresh!!
defintely worth the price :)

After that sumptuous meal,
we played around with the polaroid camera i brought!
hahahaha i didn't realise that the camera was ready
and thus this first picture HAHAHAHA

hmm not really fond of still life though, very boring and mentally taxing to focus :/

Q U A K E

met up with Shane and Juu to do our 2D tactile colour project yesterday!
started from 3pm all the way till 3am in the morning!
after 12 long hours we are finally done!
hahaha and of course, high resolution camwhoring wahahhaha ;)

had lots of fun and laughter while doing this project!
best teammates ever! :D
