My first digital painting! :D

my very first painting done using photoshop!
couldnt find my tablet pen thus i had to use a mouse
took me quite awhile!
heehee this is gonna be the background image for our 3D animation
have to get used to using digital media! ^^

the reason why i want to be in animation

Virgin Halloween!!

Met up with Stan in the morning to have breakfast!
after which i went back home to search online for halloween costume ideas
there were Vampires, Star Wars Characters, Zombies
spoilt for choices! i then looked around to see what i have at home
noticed that i still have the branches which i used for the photoshoot
felt it was a pity to just throw them away
thus i tried to think of what i can do with it
the twigs reminded me of spider legs,
thus the idea of doing the Facehugger came to my mind!

i started breaking the twigs into smaller pieces
after which i used masking tape to connect them together.
i then went to get a toilet roll, cut a few holes at both sides
inserted the legs and secured it with tape.
i had to find a way to attach it to my face without it falling off
tried using spectacles but it was too heavy
then i just tried tying the legs together using an elastic band
and it worked!
the final process was to give a coat of paint
kinda rushed so didnt really paint it properly hahaha

After which PengFong drove to pick up Shane, Juu and Myself!

Had a quick dinner at Central@Clarke Quay

haha the bowl for the ramen was HUGE.

After the dinner, we found a quiet spot in the mall and started to work on our facepaint!

Peng Fong and Shane graciously volunteered their faces for me to paint on hahaha

i seldom get to paint the entire faces, thus im very glad that they were willing to let me try hahaha

After a long while...

Juu dressed up as Pebbles from Flintstone!

We then went to walk around Clarke Quay area

we were so surprised to see the number of people that were dressed up for halloween!

haha didn't expect there to be so many of them :)))

and i recieved quite a few compliments regarding my Facehugger!!

some even wanted to take photos with me

hahaha i was smiling behind the mask ^^

After which we sat down by the river and drank Vodka with Apple Juice!

had a little chat before heading home

Juu looked so sleepy

and Shane was drunk, murmuring alot of nonsense

which was extremely hilarious

haha never seen that side of him before hahahaha

all in all,

it was a fun night, so glad that they could make it!

Endomondo

covered 15KM today! :D

Went to download this iPhone app called "Endomondo" earlier this morning
basically it records the distance you've covered
and theres a automated voice that will announce your timing every 1KM
haha gave me quite a shock at first
didn't saw it coming.

oh there are other functions too,
and you can choose from the list of sports
theres cycling,mountain biking,skating, skiing,
kayaking, golfing, hiking, swimming(wonder how this works underwaterend) and the list goes on!

Can't believe i missed the chance to meet Lana Del Rey in Singapore
wanted to give the painting i did to her personally...



















All this while i was hoping that she'd come to Singapore
Cause i cant afford to go overseas to attend her concerts
Now that she's here, i actually missed it! :(

Had Astronomy test this afternoon

was too excited discussing the questions after the test

that i did not even realise that i had misplaced my Matriculation Card

until my fellow ADMer friend tagged me on FB,

saying that he found my card!

what are the odds!

i feel so lucky today!!

shall go buy 4D now hahahaha!

went to try out this cafe named Ambush :D
we both ordered the same set lunch haha
comes with soup and a regular drink
cost us $12.50 each
very satisfying meal at an affordable price id say :)

Photoshoot!

Had a photoshoot with Scott today!
the photos turned out great! just like how i pictured it
ahhh so glad it all worked out!
The process was a bitch though
had to select and gather tree branches,
buy cloth for backdrop
borrowed Shane's camera
and even had to DIY my light bulb ><
now all thats left is to paint the images!

recess week is here!!
arghhh but the workload is overwhelming
have to use this time to catch up on all the lectures and readings
aniw, had this urge to pack my room
thus i took out everything and had them rearranged
threw away ALOT of things!
almost 3 trash bags full of stuff :O
felt so much better after cleaning up my room! ^^
