went over to Lloyd's place to get some printing work done
my house printer is not working and we have to type out this reflection thing about
life in BMT..

so troublesome la,i went to write out a draft before typing it in today
and furthermore we have to submit a commanders' appraisal too
sigh..

wednesday is our POP already
haha but before that is the 24km route march
sounds taxing eh
looking forward to the block leave!

saturday~

woots just finished 16KM route march
it started at 2:30pm
where the sun was scorching hot
but as soon as we started marching
the sky turned grey
and the weather was rather cooling


upon reaching the 8KM mark
it started to pour like mad
and it was a thunderstorm
we had shelter and a long break cos of the thunderstorm
they provided kit kat and H20
haha

after the rain had stopped
we continued our journey back to company line
and before we knew it
we were back in our bunks sleeping :)

and this morning we finally got to book out
haha :)
damn happy that i got to keep my hair for one more week
hahaha its rather long now(rather)

last wednesday was fun
cos we had OC evening
where all of us,including the sergeants and Sirs
all let our hair down (provided we have any)
and enjoyed performances by all four platoons
being platoon 1
we were the first to perform
and our performance was revolving around 'H' company
which means Homo company
with all the sick jokes and stuff
the audience enjoyed our performance as they laughed like mad
hahaha

our platoon won the best performance out of the four
as our OC thought it was entertaining and creative
hahaha
big thanks to jun wei for organising
and all the rest for putting in effort
into making the performance work out in the end :)

happy valentine's day

had to stay in camp today morning for remedial training
why? cos i failed my pull ups during IPPT
haha but now i can do 5 pull ups already
must reach at least 7!!

saw rudi at the cookhouse today,he told me that they could only book out on monday cos today was their out field SIT(situatonal) test
they looked so emo..
and i didnt noe what to say to him
so i said "all the best"
wtf? what a stupid thing to say


valentine's day,
went to catch the movie 'Curious case of Benjamin Button'
by myself,the counter person had to keep repeating "1 ticket?"
so loudly,make people feel even more miserable..
lols

that movie lasted 3 hours...
some parts very touching
quite a nice movie to watch :)

met up with the rest of the AEPs
we had lotsa food.
haha i ate quite alot!


it felt so nice to meet them once again
its been such a long time apart
and yet we still felt so close
afterall,
we spent two years in the art room
painting night and day

haha sarah,huimin,yirong and xuli are now teachers in secondary school
each have their different experiences
sounds fun
haha

now i can finally understand the alien language when guys talk about NS life
with all the abbreviated words like IPPT,SOC,BCCT,SIT..
cos im one of them now :)

and the cold wind blows

army life

i like being in the army,
cos in there,every single minute is being used up
training,running,marching..

everyday passes by so quickly with barely time spare to think
i guess it helps to distract myself from my bad habit of thinking too much

i realised that i've become a much happier person now

maybe in the past,
things have gone too complex for me

and now,
everything in the army is so simple and basic
its like a huge burden being lifted
and thus,
i can smile once again

went to tampines to catch The Punisher
bloody.gory.violent show.
kinda nice though

ahh damn bored at home.
want to go out but all the shops are closed!
maybe going to visit some relatives

was having reunion dinner
then my mother mentioned that pisces people are the most vain

i damn happy with my new clothes.esp the jeans.

Haha been a long time since i last posted

just finished my Field Camp!
imagine...
6 days of no bathing(just powder bathing)
running,crawling,kneeling on all sorts of ground surfaces
sleeping in holes in the ground
shitting in holes in the ground(i didnt shit for 6 days..)
peeing amongst the grass
getting all sorts of weird rashes
eating combat rations
no talking,just whispering and signalling
having to wear back the same uniform for 2~3days after all the sweat from training

wearing a vest and helmet and a 4~5kg rifle all the time
(that includes peeing,shitting,sleeping)

having to guard your own weapon 24hours around the clock
worst of all was to find your stuff in the dark with a torch that is tacticalized to a point that it defeats its purpose of a torchlight...
haha it was damn crappy

but,i felt we were very lucky
there was no rain for the whole camp (which means less trouble)
my section commander is super nice
the place we had to dig our shell scrape was soft as previous groups had dug before
and..
we had KFC in the middle of the jungle due to Chinese New Year celebrations

all in all,
it was tiring,but i enjoyed it :)

lost damn alot of weight,around 6kg haha



yesterday went to laselle to meet my friends
we went over to orchard cineleisure
on our way there,bumped into john tung,yongwen and dickson
went to collage
bought a pair of skinny jeans(my first pair)
and a shirt
together cost $175(with discount)
haha but i like it alot :)
my friend helped me with the choosing
then we went to catch Inkheart at 11:30pm
age friendly movie i would say

im looking forward to a damn awesome dinner on CNY
and
i still think army is fun
haha :D
