Time to loose weight!

Been having very unhealthy eating habits the past few months,

playing computer games and eating non stop

and as they always say "your body is a reflection of how you're treating it"

and yup it does shows alright

i look so fat and unhealthy right now

thus explains why i haven't had a single photo of myself at all

so i decided that i've to put an end to this

cause i really don't like how i look right now.

came up with this plan

to "report" whatever you eat to someone you can trust,

in my case would be Stanley

take for example, if you're going to the fridge and thinking of eating a bar of chocolate

the thought of having to report that you're going to eat a bar of chocolate

instantly makes you think twice

and you'd leave it.

it works for normal meals as well,

lets say if i was about to buy a bowl of laksa

the thought of having to report it makes me change my mind

and i'd go for a healthier alternative.

It may sound silly but so far it's working out great for me

I've cut down alot on my food intake 

as well as completely stopped snacking.

just make sure that the one you're reporting to won't get annoyed by your messages!

hahaha

oh and im thinking of trying out this Insanity Workout thingy

Stanley's doing it, i shall join in too >:D

Felt like Chinese New Year round 2 hahaha

Korean BBQ buffet!! yummyyyy 

My 23rd birthday was such a pleasant surprise for me!
initially i thought i'd just be having a very mundane birthday cake
and the day will just pass me by like every other day.. #foreveralone

But to my surprise My future in laws treated my family for dinner!
and my sister and her BF bought this fruit tart/cake for me!
the plastic knife they provided broke due to the crust hahaha
had such a nice dinner with my family
the look of happiness on my parents' faces
if only they could be happy for me as well
oh wells, fat hope haha.

On my birthday itself I went out with Stanley
to the Korean BBQ buffet at Tampines1!
Although the variety isn't much but the quality is definitely there!
My favorite would be the bacon, so yummy but so sinful
thus i had to limit myself ><
nevertheless the food was really yummy!
would recommend it if you're a meat lover

And also not forgetting the Birthday wishes from all my friends
ahhh so much love :D Thank you all!!
oh oh and i'd be going out with Shane, Juu and Pengfong this saturday for dinner!
after our horrible mid terms tomorrow = =

Was just wandering around J8 with Stanley where we decided to catch a movie
however the movies that were screening didn't really appeal to us
thus we just randomly decided to watch "Beautiful Creatures"
as the show timing was the most convenient.
We were rather doubtful about the movie at first
as the ratings was 3/5
sitting on the fence eh
But we were pleasantly surprised! the movie was awesome :D
We loved it!

perhaps due to the fact that both of us loved magical things :)
if you're planning to watch it
avoid watching the trailer as it kinda spoils the movie.
hope you'll like it as much as we did!

been so sad lately, i've no idea why either.
it's like i've no mood to do anything at all.
sad thoughts keep flooding my mind
kept thinking why do i not have friends,
close friends that would ask me out to parties, bars, events and stuff.
i get really envious when i know that my schoolmates have plans with their own group of friends.
then i look at myself and think why don't i have any,
is it because im a boring person to hang out with?
and that led to me thinking what will my life be like without art,
would people still want to be my friend?
would people even notice me..
suddenly i felt so invisible.

i think about silly things all the time
but then again, there's got to be something wrong with me
if not, why do i feel so lonely?

heehee one of my Guild Wars 2 character

this is one of the 5 available races to play with

Human,Norn,Charr,Sylvari and Asura

each of them can be customized to your liking

and im the kind that pays alot of attention to looks

thus i spent hours on the customizing page hahaha

and spend lots of gold (game currency) on the character's looks

haha how superficial eh

but the game is pretty much about looks

the 'legendary' equipment of the game is probably what most people aim for

as the designers did an amazing job at making them so desirable

even i've fallen prey to them

definitely the best MMORPG i've played

worth the money spent :)

New shirt from Hush Puppies

Bought a new shirt for Chinese New Year!
Was just having a chat with Shane the other day on the way home
about how when we grow older, we get less excited about CNY.
It's quite sad to be at this age
where relatives start to pass away one by one
due to age and illnesses.
people that we used to visit for CNY are no longer around
friends that I used to play with felt like strangers
"你还记得他们吗？当你小时候一起玩的"
and i just nod and smile, even though i don't remember a thing.
ah this is really depressing.
but nevertheless, i'm always looking forward to reunion dinner
cause my dad is gonna cook for us!
and he'd never let us down :D
oh and the ang baos $_$

Malaysia Boleh!

Recently Juu,Shane and I came across this new eating place at Jurong Point
and we've been visiting it ever since
the place is called Malaysia Boleh,
So far we've tried several dishes on our visits
Hokkien Mee, Char Kway Teow, Pork Soup, Chicken Rice, Wanton Mee, Claypot Chicken Rice
and my personal favourite, the Prawn Noodles!
the food there are priced ranging from $3.50 to $8.00
quite reasonable prices for yummy food
some portions are quite small though,
but that means more variety for me! :D
do check it out if you happen to be at Jurong Point!

Claypot Chicken Rice

Mum bought Jambu today knowing that it is my favourite fruit
but what she doesn't know is that
what i like about it isn't just because its sweet
but because it brings back memories..
I vaguely remember back when i was in nursery
my mum would bring me to the nursery at Tampines on foot
and there's this long path that we'd take
on the way back there was this Jambu tree
where occasionally there'd be ripe ones that have fallen onto the ground
my mum and I would then pick them up and wash them when we were back home
i was so happy even though it was quite bland.
and now everytime i take a bite,
id be reminded of those days
those sweet memories :')

it was such a nice movie!!

haha i know ive not been updating my blog for the longest time
what have i been up to?  Guild Wars 2!
haha its so addictive
the graphics are amazing
and theres simply so much to do in the game that i can't stop playing hahaha
im such a sucker when it comes to MMORPGs heehee

but then again,
school has started thus its time to get back to work.
kinda like my timetable this semester
compared to last semester which was a dread
but then again, its still too early to decide :/
oh and i have been drawing some monsters lately
thanks to the long boring train rides
thought of drawing something snake-ish
since its the year of the snake
CNY is drawing near!!
can't wait ^^

Cable Skiing at Batam!

Left the house early to meet up with Shane and Juu at Harbour Front!
Got our tickets and we hopped on board a ferry named Sindo Princess

It was a rather fast trip to Sekupang, Batam!
We then took a mini bus to our destination, Waterfront City Resort :D
After which we put on our life jackets and went for kneeboarding first!
haha it was damn thrilling! the speed was quite fast!
and the only thing on your mind would be to hold on to the handle
trying not to fall into the water
the tension of the rope was soooooo strong!
it would lax awhile before it gives a crazy strong tug
and thats when majority of us will fall into the water hahaha
i feel a great sense of achievement 
that i managed to complete 2 whole rounds before landing in the water
not bad for a first try right?
ughh but my arms were aching right after!

We then took a break and had a sumptuous meal
the food there was not bad :)
and we even got to play with a baby monkey!
her name is Dora, her mother died 
and she was too young to fend for herself

thankfully a kind old lady took her in
and took care of her as though she was her own
it was so heartwarming
watching the way the old lady interacted with the monkey.
the baby monkey was so gentle
she'd lightly hold on to your finger with her tiny hands
awwwwww
never had a chance to play with a monkey before
the wild ones are wayyyy to fierce

After the break,
we went back for more action
haha this time all of us 
(there were other Singaporeans, all around our age, some even friends of Shane!)
decided to try the more advanced boards
hahaha this is were all of us just kept faceplanting
it was hilarious!!
im quite glad most of us were beginners
there was nothing to be embarrassed about
and the face that they were around our age,
made us feel comfortable and much chat with
after several hours of attempts and faceplants
we were exhausted!
and decided it was time to call it a day
had a nice shower and there was a mini van to bring us back to Sekupang Ferry Terminal
haha we just K.O.ed on the ferry ride back

all in all,
it was an awesome trip!
everything went smoothly
and it was really fun!! never knew i had the guts to try it out hahahahaha
im glad i did ^^
will definitely visit there again
hopefully with more friends!!

Hello Rilakkuma!

Went for a swim earlier this morning
one of the rare days where it didn't rain!

haven't really been exercising much lately

and i needed a tan badly :p

haha look at how pale i am!

When i came back
i noticed these two parcels on my sofa
and in my mind i was like "COULD IT BE??"
upon seeing my name on the address
i immediately ripped open the packages
and TADAA!! my eBay purchases have arrived!!

i was rather surprised that the tablet pen arrived so quickly

i made my order on Thursday and it only took one day to arrive at my doorstep o.o

aniw, i was really happy to see the Rilakkuma sticker!
been looking forward to it for quite some time! :D
went to clean the surface of my Macbook and carefully pasted it down
it was very simple ^^
just when i was about to throw the remains of the sticker,
i thought it'd be such a waste
thus i went to get a penknife
cut out some grass shape
and added it to my Macbook cover! :D
Im very happy with the results! ^_____^

Dinner!

Had another paper yesterday!
and we went to celebrate by having a nice dinner
haha we've been celebrating wayyy too often hahaha!
anyways we went to Menya Musashi at Raffles City Shopping Centre to have ramen!
we were all quite hungry
and thats definitely a place to go if you're feeling hungry hahaha

really lovable characters! my favourite would definitely be Jack Frost
i think they did an amazing job with the characters and visual effects
as an animation student, really hope to be able to achieve such standards one day!!

Saw this pair of Rilakkuma alarm clocks at Bugis Plus earlier today
really wanted the brown one but the white one looks good as well
had quite a hard time deciding thus i just decided to get both!
hahaha i think the auntie saying "the white one is the last piece" really had an effect on me,
I DUNNO IF SHES TELLING THE TRUTH OR NOT
BUT I GIVE EVERYONE A BENEFIT OF A DOUBT,
